Percussion designs from the future
Euro Zambrano
[Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder]
I’ve been incorporating WTF Percussion instruments and triggers into my setup since 2025, during my European and UK tour with Chaka Khan.
As soon as I started integrating them into my rig, new musical ideas began to flow naturally. These instruments brought a fresh level of inspiration and excitement to my performances, elevating both my creativity and overall sound.
One of the coolest moments with these instruments happened during a recording session for Zootopia 2. Composer Michael Giacchino and recording engineer Warren Brown came over to my percussion booth, curious about what instruments were producing those “particular” sounds. They absolutely loved the atmosphere these instruments created for the soundtrack.
I also had an amazing time playing these phenomenal instruments during the Tribute to Quincy Jones concert at the Montreux Jazz Festival. They brought such a unique energy and character to the performance.
I’m truly grateful for the innovation and craftsmanship of Axel and the entire WTF Percussion team. It’s an honor to be part of the WTF Percussion family, and I’m proud to represent them as an endorser artist.

The Reco Electro can be scraped, hit, crashed, plucked or used as an “input free”/mechanically activated stereo spring reverb. You can cross the springs to create a kind of cymbal-stack like sound effects
It’s purely a piezo-electric instrument, thus, it does not (by design) boast any acoustic volume to write home about.
It features a stereo piezo system that can be connected to anything: an audio interface, a DI-box, a pedalboard or a mixer. You can also use one of the outputs as a trigger out and the other as audio out at the same time!
The foam damper shortens the spring sustain drastically. You can also prepare the springs with rubber bands, aluminum foil or whatever comes to mind to create new sounds.
The Reco Electro is made in Sweden with very few imported parts.
There are no limits or rules on how to use this WTF instrument, I can’t wait to see how you use it!

A cluster of chains with a piezo mic system?!
Imagine an isolated chain sound that you can plug in and put effects on! It can be used as a crash substitute or it can enhance hihats, snares and other instruments by resting the chain links on them!
Our Instagram has videos that gives you an idea of what you can do with it!
It does not make a lot of acoustic noise by design, you plug it in using a standard 1/4” guitar cable and create the sound you want. Plug it in to your audio interface, DI-box, guitar pedals or pretty much whatever you want and go crazy!
Used on tour by Euro Zambrano with Chaka Khan, Povel Olsson with Robyn and Chris Dave with his band.

Moldy goat nails may look nice, but they don’t have a lot of volume.
We’ve redesigned the hihat rattle concept from the ground up, it now features a flexible press fit on the rod. This means you can set the height of the “nuts” to your liking. They’re also way more durable than the hihat rattles you see in stores today.
Have them dangling high for the most volume and sustain or press it all the way to the clutch for a tighter sound.
You can also disengage the hihat clutch while keeping the Spider Nuts attached to the rod, this gives you the opportunity to play just the nuts with your hihat pedal!
The Spider Nuts are easily stackable which creates a chunky, loud and groove inspiring sound!
